OLS Classroom Assistant - Special Education (English Required)

Primary Purpose of the Position
Providing academic support for students with disabilities - high school.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Providing support for student (in the classroom)
Working with subject teacher and OLS teacher to adapt materials.
Providing appropriate guidance working with students
Providing direct instruction and intervention
Collecting information on student progress.
Adapts, under the direction of the teacher. classroom activities, assignments and/or materials for the purpose of providing an opportunity for all OLS students to participate in classroom activities.
Administers a variety of materials, assignments (e.g. tests, homework, grades papers, folders, etc.) and assessments for the purpose of assisting teacher in evaluating students' progress and/or organizing the individual needs of the student.

Experience
Experience working in a school setting
Special education/ learning support

Required
Fluent in English
